HTC has announced yet another smartphone focused on taking better Selfies with a 4-Ultrapixel camera on the front, the same camera that HTC has used in its Flagship devices for the past two years. The device is the HTC Desire 826, and it just went official at CES 2015.

The HTC Desire 826 specs include a 5.5-inch full HD screen with a display resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Along with the 4-Ultrapixel camera on front, there’s a 13MP (f/2.2) camera on the back of the device with 28mm lens, BSI sensor and LED flash. The device runs on octa-core (four cores at 1.5GHz and four cores at 1.0GHz) 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM, and backed by a 2600 mAh battery.

There will also be a 4G supported variant of Desire 826 which will come in both Dual SIM and Single SIM variants depending upon regions. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Sense 6 and should be upgradeable to Sense 7 as and when it’s available. Also, since the Desire 826 is a selfie focused phone, the HTC Eye experience will be available on the device as well.

As for the connectivity options you get Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS/ A-GPS and a micro-usb port. Desire 826 measures pretty good on thickness factor with only 7.5mm of thickness and it weighs 155 grams. The device will sport a two-tone body style with the following color options: White Birch, Blue Lagoon, and Purple Fire.
