How do you think it is possible that the UK enjoys something and the US doesn’t get a whiff of it! Okay, you didn’t, but here’s what wanted to hear — a small and tiny screen shot leak shows a particular HTC65303, which is a indication that the very eagerly anticipated HTC Incredible S is coming to the US as HTC Droid Incredible 2 –as a successor to Droid incredible — and will be housed by the Verizon Wireless. Its predecessor, the Droid Incredible was one of the biggest hits in 2010, with a 3.7 inch WVGA Super LCD screen, an 8 MP camera with HD capabilities and two LED flashlights, a front facing camera, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 768 MB RAM and now, has been updated to Android 2.2 too.

We know its not a true successor to HTC Droid Incredible since the popular Droid tag name has been done away here and reduced to just HTC Incredible 2. We hate it, blame it on iPhone coming to January this month. We will wait and see how much Verizon losses on cutting back on Droid name than gaining on iPhone. What’s your view? Is Verizon right in ripping its new android phones off the Droid tag?

And wait, that’s not all, the next screenshot shows HTC Merge getting revived and finding its way into Verizon. HTC Merge is a robust smartphone running Android 2.2 OS, with 3.7 inch touchscreen, a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a 5 MP camera with 720P HD recording.
