HTC said that they would focus on making only a few devices and trim down their smartphone portfolio, starting with the release of the One trio of phones. Well, HTC lied, as they continue to release new devices, including slightly upgraded versions of older devices, and now @FootballPDA of Twitter has leaked specifications of yet another upcoming HTC devices – the Desire SV.
The Desire SV is a dual SIM, dual-core smartphone, and despite having a name that mostly China-exclusive HTC devices carry, is headed for Europe. It has got mid-range written all over it, with 768MB RAM, dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 Play MSM8225 processor (like the Desire X), 4.3″ display of unknown resolution, 4GB internal storage and microSD card slot, 8 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0, and while the Android version wasn’t mentioned, Ice Cream Sandwich would seem to be the best bet.
Once HTC officially announces the Desire SV, we’ll bring you pictures and more detailed information on it. Till then, stay tuned!
