As the flagship smartphone One M9 did not help HTC succeed as expected, the firm has been trying a lot to correct the situation. One of the steps that the Taiwanese firm had attempted to rectify the failure of its flagship smartphone is the launch of the One M9+. Also, the firm is prepping to launch a new hero smartphone later this year.
Apart from these, HTC has announced the launch of a dual SIM smartphone called Desire 826 in India. The device is priced at Rs 26,900 (approx. $423) that is a little expensive that its counterparts in the market.
Talking of its specifications, the HTC Desire 826 is bestowed with a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display and it is stuffed with a 64 bit octa core Snapdragon 615 processor that is teamed up with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 450 graphics unit.
The smartphone bundles 16 GB of default memory capacity that can be further expanded up to 128 GB using a micro SD card. It has a 13 MP main snapper at its back with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, BSI sensor and 28 mm lens. Up front, there is a 4 UltraPixel camera for selfies and video conferencing.
The other aspects of the HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB, GPS/A-GPS and dual SIM functionality. A 2,600 mAh battery energizes the smartphone from within rendering a decent backup to the device. It also has dual front facing stereo speakers that are powered by Dolby Audio.
