HTC began rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update in some parts of the Europe earlier this week. We reported about the rollout starting in UK, and an HTC official today confirmed that the update is also live in Russia, the Middle East and Turkey.

However, the HTC 10 Nougat rollout is still on pause in the mainland Europe. HTC’s Product and service director confirmed that the update will resume for Mainland Europe in February. He further mentioned that the update was paused due to a technical issue that’s now being worked on.

Mainland Europe consists of the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (excluding the islands of Ceuta and Melilla), Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey in Europe plus Uskudar, Ukraine.

Earlier this week, HTC also rolled out the Nougat update to HTC One M9 in Europe and to HTC 10 Lifestyle edition. The updates came with firmware build number 4.14.701.4 for One M9 and 2.22.401.3 for HTC 10 Lifestyle.

For other HTC devices that are due to get a taste of Nougat officially, users can chose to install a custom ROM like Lineage OS to get the latest and greatest of Android running on their devices.
