Right from version 1.2, Where Winds Meet expands how you acquire legendary gear. Fieryheart Gear Echo is part of that shift, giving you more control over which high-end items you add to your build instead of relying purely on random drops.
Fieryheart Gear Echo (Tier 71) explained
Fieryheart Gear Echo is a reward item that functions as a gear-selection token. You may encounter it as a high-level reward, including from late-game bosses such as Heartseeker. The Echo itself cannot be equipped. Instead, it unlocks targeted legendary gear choices inside the Legendary Gear Exchange.
This design allows you to focus on specific Fieryheart weapons or armor pieces rather than hoping for the right drop.

How to use Fieryheart Gear Echo in the Legendary Gear Exchange shop
Here is a complete step-by-step guide to use the Fieryheart Gear Echo in the newly added Legendary Gear Exchange shop:
Step 1: Access the Season Shop
Open the in-game menu and navigate to the Season Shop. The Legendary Gear Exchange is located within this section.
Step 3: Purchase a Legendary Gear Custom Chest
Use Fieryheart Gear Echo to buy a Custom Chest. Each week, only three are available before the shop refreshes, so timing matters. You get 8 custom chests in the Tier 71 Legendary Gear Custom Chest.
Step 4: Open the secondary selection chest
After opening the Custom Chest, you receive a second chest select the type of Custom Chest you want.
Now, on opening the chest, you will get another option to select a particular item to purchase from the chest. This system makes it very easy for you to choose to spend your Gear Echo thoughtfully. You can purchase only 1 item at once.
Step 5: Plan weekly usage
Because of the stock limit, it’s best to spend tickets before the weekly reset to avoid wasting available purchases.
How to farm Fieryheart Gear Echo
- Run Campaign Challenges, especially Heartseeker boss (Challenge mode) for reward-table drops.
- Spend Energy on these challenges to claim boss rewards (Echo drops roll when energy is used).
- Repeat runs consistently — RNG means multiple clears are needed to accumulate Gear Echo.
- Push to higher world levels when possible to unlock better reward pools and Echo chances.
- Use Energy Pills/Reserves to chain more runs in one session without stopping.
