- Simply swipe up on the transcripts and select ‘Search’. Alternatively, ‘View transcripts’ from the three-dot icon and tap on the magnifying glass.
With the release of the transcript feature on Apple Podcasts comes the ability to interact with them in several ways. If you’re looking for particular words or phrases, you can easily search the transcripts. Here’s how to do so.
How to search Apple Podcasts Transcripts
- Open a podcast on the Apple Podcasts app. Tap on the speech bubble in the bottom left corner to view the podcast transcripts.
- Swipe up from the transcript and tap on Search.
- In the search field, type the word or phrase that you want to find. All the matches in the transcript will be highlighted.
- Alternatively, tap on the three-dot icon and select View transcript. In the ‘Transcript’ window, tap on the search icon in the top right corner to search.
