The Silver Needle sect is one of the various sects you can join in Where Winds Meet, specializing in medicine, healing techniques, and compassionate service. Joining the sect allows players to earn unique healer titles, unlock healing-based abilities, improve reputation, and eventually rise to the respected rank of Keeper or higher.
If you want to pursue the healer profession and gain access to medical appraisals, sect-exclusive perks, and reputation rewards, joining Silver Needle is essential.
How to join the Silver Needle sect
Step 1
Go to Menu → Sect.

Step 2
Select Silver Needle to view the entry requirements. You must heal three NPCs, earn their medical records, and collect their payment.

Step 3
Start the trial. Track the quest on your map and travel to the marked location.

Step 4
Locate the sick merchant by the roadside and offer to heal him.

Step 5
Use Wind Sense to diagnose his illness. Choose the payment you want to receive.

Step 6
Begin the treatment.

Step 7
Use the correct prescription cards to heal him successfully. You’ll receive your reward and your first medical record.

Find Li Ermao, the second patient, near the woods. Offer to heal him.

Step 9
Diagnose his illness using Wind Sense, then select your payment.

Step 10
After diagnosis, start the healing procedure.

Step 11
Use the appropriate prescription cards to heal Li Ermao. You’ll earn your reward and second medical record.

After healing all three patients, return to the Silver Needle sect page and select Seek Apprenticeship.

Travel to the Silver Needle base, where Dr. Yuan is waiting.

Speak with Dr. Yuan. When he asks, show him the medical records and payments collected.

Dr. Yuan will explain why collecting payments is important for the dignity of healers. Agree with him to complete the trial and officially join the Silver Needle sect.

- Weekly requirement: receive at least 15 Likes from patients.
- Failure to meet this requirement reduces precept value by –10.
Shared Healing
- Participate in Multiplayer Healing and complete a session to earn +10 precept value.

Upgrade requirements
To reach the next rank, complete medical appraisal tasks such as:
- Utmost Skill: Treat gravely ill patients (0/1 in your screenshot).
- Utmost Sincerity: “To heal others is to heal their hearts.” Earn the Healer’s Heart title (0/100 empathy points).
- Apricot Grove: Plant an apricot tree with Senior Sister Wang Wei (0/1).
Command of the Silver Needle sect

The Command of the Silver Needle sect consists of weekly tasks that grant Reputation, helping you maintain and advance your standing within the sect. These commands include both solo and multiplayer activities, such as receiving a patient’s Like through healing (Return the Favor), aiding beggars with the Giveaway action (Valor Above Gold), and increasing your Drunkenness once per day (Share the Sorrow of Ages). Multiplayer tasks include completing Group Cultivation in the Blessed Land (Fragrant Path Companion), participating in Scholars’ Hearth and either misleading or answering first (Take a Guess), and performing over 60 musical notes in a Musical Performance (Lingering Echoes).
