In Green Hell, Lambda 2 serves as a vital checkpoint in the unforgiving Amazon where you uncover clues and resources amid dense cliffs and foliage. Reaching Lambda 2 will require a bit of prepartion. Because the jungle hides deadly threats and confusing terrain, you'll need stamina, basic tools like ropes, and ideally antidotes for venomous encounters. Follow these steps precisely, using your in-game map coordinates.
Lambda 2 Location
Lambda 2 lies west of Lambda 1, past a stretch of river that bends southward before narrowing. The surrounding terrain shifts from dense jungle to broken rock faces and elevated platforms - an environmental cue that you are close.

You will eventually spot man-made wooden structures embedded into rock walls—your clearest visual confirmation.
How to get to Lambda 2
Before you begin, make sure you have a Grappling Hook.
Step 1: Leave Lambda 1 heading west
From Lambda 1, follow the western river route. Stay close to the water to avoid getting lost in thick undergrowth.

Step 2: Follow the river southward
The river curves south and becomes narrower. This stretch often spawns predators, so move deliberately and listen for audio cues.

Step 3: Locate the climbing area
You’ll find a rock face with wooden scaffolding and ropes. This is not optional terrain. It signals the intended path forward.

Step 4: Use the grappling hook
Attach the grappling hook to the marked ledge. Without it, you cannot reach Lambda 2. If you do not have one yet, you must backtrack and craft or retrieve it through story progression.

Step 5: Enter Lambda 2
At the top, follow the wooden walkway to the sealed structure. Interact with the entrance to access the interior and continue the narrative.
Lambda 2 is easy to overlook because the jungle visually “hides” vertical progression. Unlike Lambda 1, the route is less obvious, and it tests your attentiveness more than your survival skills. If you follow the river, respect elevation cues, and arrive prepared, the jungle opens its next chapter without resistance.
