The Mirage Boat is the most talked-about mount in Where Winds Meet, largely because it isn’t earned through normal gameplay. Instead, you build it through one of the rarest and most expensive gacha systems in the game.
If you’re aiming to unlock it, you’ll need patience, luck, and—depending on your approach—a significant financial commitment.

How to get the Mirage Boat
Here is how you can practically unlock the Mirage Boat:
- Progress the main story until you unlock the mount system at the General’s Shrine, where defeating the horse thieves grants your first horse.
- Open the game’s premium Draw (gacha) system, where all Mirage Boat materials are obtained.
- Collect Diagrams from the Draw—this is the only currency used to unlock the Mirage Boat.
- Accumulate a total of 170 Diagrams, the exact amount required to build the boat.
- Visit the Draw Shop and exchange all 170 Diagrams to unlock the Mirage Boat blueprint.
- Build the boat from the blueprint, then summon it through your mount hotkey (PC: 6 • PS5: Touchpad + Square).
How many real-money draws does it usually take
But here is the catch, 170 torn pages is not an easy collection, with just the game progression.
Because Diagrams only come from the premium Draw and have a low appearance rate, players commonly require thousands of pulls before reaching 170.
In most early examples, the total cost has ranged from tens of thousands of dollars to over $40,000–$70,000 USD, depending on luck, pity triggers, and draw variance.
This is why the Mirage Boat became known as the “40k USD Boat.”

The Mirage Boat’s true value
The Mirage Boat is purely cosmetic. It doesn’t improve combat, stats, or progression. You’re paying for spectacle, prestige, and the uniqueness of owning a highly rare mount. If you enjoy flamboyant roleplay, water travel, and being noticed, it’s a top-tier showpiece. Otherwise, it’s optional and unnecessary for normal gameplay.
The Mirage Boat stands as a symbol of luxury more than utility. Its “40k USD Boat” nickname highlights how rare and expensive it is, making it one of the most talked-about cosmetics in modern online games. If you decide to pursue it, expect a long grind—whether through heavy drawing or deep pockets.
