Gargantuan Ore farming in The Forge is less about brute-force mining and more about controlling how Gargantuas spawn. If you approach it like a standard ore grind, progress will feel painfully slow. With the right setup, you can dramatically increase how often you see Gargantuas—and therefore how much Gargantuan Ore you earn.
Farm Gargantuan ore in The Forge quickly
Overload on Miner Potion and Luck Potion as much as you can. And farm for Gargantuan ore in the Peak area.
Farming spot 1 - Heart of the Island ore
Location:
This ore spawns at the very center of the main island, deep underground, in an isolated chamber often referred to by players as the Heart of the Island. You usually reach it by progressing through the main cave network beneath the island until the paths narrow into a single core room.
Why it matters:
It has one of the highest multipliers in the game, but it spawns very rarely. Because of that, players use the reset method—checking the ore contents and resetting the server if they don’t like the result, instead of breaking it.
Farming spot 2 - Spider Cave (icy rock) spot
Location:
Head into Spider Cave, then go straight down into the lower section of the cave. Near the bottom, you’ll find a single icy rock node.
Notes:
- Only one ore at a time
- Usually does not convert into a boulder
- Consistent, but slow compared to other spots
This is more of a controlled RNG check than a true farming loop.
Farming spot 3 - Spider Cave (two guaranteed boulders)
Location:
Still inside Spider Cave, but slightly deeper and offset from the icy rock path. This area contains two boulder nodes placed close together.
Why it’s strong:
Recent changes made these two boulders guaranteed to respawn. You can stand in one spot and mine them continuously without moving, making it one of the best semi-AFK farming loops in the game.
Farming spot 4 - Ice Crystals
Location:
This spot is in the Frostspire / Peak region, on a small island at the back of an ice cave.
Exact farming setup:
- The island contains two ice crystal spawn points
- Both can roll as medium or large ice crystals
- You can position yourself to mine both at the same time
Why this is the best AFK spot:
- Guaranteed respawn loop
- Minimal movement required
- Eligible for rare and Divine-tier drops
- Works extremely well for long idle sessions
Choosing the right Gargantuan Ore strategy
If you enjoy active decision-making and resets, the Heart of the Island offers unmatched potential.
If you want safe, repeatable progress, Spider Cave’s two-boulder setup is hard to beat.
For long AFK sessions and maximum efficiency, the Peak ice crystal island is the clear winner.
Gargantuan Ore farming in The Forge rewards patience, preparation, and smart positioning. Once you stop chasing random spawns and start using controlled loops, the grind becomes far more manageable.
