How to feed animals
Follow the steps given below to craft the feed bag, and lure and feed animals.
Craft the Farmer's Workbench
Before you can make animal feed, you need the proper equipment:
Step 1: Craft the Standard Workbench
Start by pressing Tab to open your pocket crafting menu.

Use 4 tree trunks and 3 stones to build a basic Workbench.
Step 2: Craft the Farmer's Workbench
Interact with your standard Workbench and select the Farmer's Workbench.

You will need 6 tree trunks and 20 pieces of plant fiber to craft it. (Some recipes may vary based on materials like iron ingots).
Craft the Feed Bag
Once your Farmer's Workbench is placed, you can craft the Feed Bag using gathered crops. The ingredients for the Feed bag are:
- Wheat - x10
- Vegetables - x5
- Fruits - x5
- Essence of Life - x10
Open the Farmer's Workbench and navigate to the farming section. Select Feed Bag and hit Craft.

Feed and Lure animals
With the Feed Bag in your hand, you can begin interacting with animals.
Step 1: Luring animals
Hold the Feed Bag near an animal. It will be attracted to the bait and follow you, allowing you to lead it into a farm pen.

Step 2: Feeding animals
Right-click or toss the feed near the animal.

Step 3: Taming animals
Continue feeding the animal until heart particles appear above its head. This indicates the animal is tamed and will follow you or produce resources like milk, wool, or eggs.
Feeding animals in Hytale is a straightforward process that begins with crafting a Feed Bag at a Farmer's Workbench. This allows you to manage livestock for resources or tame wild animals to accompany you on your adventures.
