Disguises add a clever layer to Where Winds Meet's open-world stealth, helping you blend into crowded Jianghu hubs without drawing swords. You'll rely on this for specific side quests and infiltration tasks, especially in guarded spots like sects or markets.

Unlocking disguise in Kaifeng

Head to Kaifeng, a central city hub, and locate Wuyan's shop—look for disguise-related signage or ask locals. Start Disguise: Veil of Love, a side quest in Kaifeng listed in your journal under stealth activities. Completing it teaches the skill directly.

How to create and apply a disguise

Follow the steps below to create and apply a disguise in Where Winds Meet:

Step 1

After finishing the Veil of Love side quest, Wuyan becomes available for disguises. You’ll find her in the inner room of Lin’s Cosmetics Shop, located near the East Cross Street Boundary Stone, as shown below.

Step 2

Search for the Mask symbol in quest areas like markets or sect outskirts—it's your cue they're disguisable.
