How to destroy the lava rock barrier using Industrial Explosives
Step 1
Go to the Lava Rock Barrier you want to clear and move close enough that you can target it properly.
Step 2
Put Industrial Explosives in a usable slot (or your quick-use wheel) so you can select them quickly.
Step 3
Use the Industrial Explosives directly on the Lava Rock Barrier (place or throw them onto the barrier, depending on how your build/menu is set up).
Step 4
Let the explosive go off, then confirm the barrier fully breaks and the path is open.
Step 5
Walk through and grab any nearby resources, interactables, or shortcuts the barrier was blocking.
Troubleshooting if it won’t break

No option to use explosives: You probably don’t have Industrial Explosives in inventory yet—progress until you can obtain/craft them.

Explosion happens but the barrier stays: Reposition and aim at the barrier itself (not the ground beside it). Try placing closer to the center.
