Spotify is rolling out a feature that lets you create cover art for your playlists. With the new ‘Create cover art’ feature, you can add an image and give it some style, color, and effects. Here’s everything you need to know to start creating cover art for your Spotify playlists.
Spotify now lets you create cover arts for playlists on Android and iOS. Here’s how
- Open a playlist and tap on the three-dot icon next to it.
- Select Create cover art.
- When prompted, select the image that you want to use for the playlist.
- You can change several elements such as Text styles, Colors, and Effects as well as change background colors, add stickers and mask image.
- Once done, tap Save in the top right corner.
The feature is currently in beta but should be available to you as long as you keep the Spotify app updated. The feature is available on the smartphone app for both Android and iOS users.
The update comes only a few days after YouTube Music gave users the ability to upload images as cover art for playlists. But Spotify users already have this ability. And with the ability to create cool cover arts as well, the music-streaming platform has upped its game yet again.
