In Green Hell, Stick armor sits at the bottom of the armor hierarchy, but its ease of access makes it a practical first step when you’re newly dropped into the Amazon and vulnerable to even minor threats. Here's what you need to know to craft Stick armor and keep yourself protected.

Materials required to craft stick armor

You only need very basic items to craft stick armor:

  • Stick - x3
  • Banana Leaf - x1
  • Rope - x2

How to gather materials

Banana leaves come from banana trees scattered around the jungle. Chop the leaves directly with your hands or a tool.

Sticks drop from breaking small branches on trees or bushes using your fists or a stone axe.

Ropes craft from 4 fibers (pulped from plants like liana or palm leaves), so harvest plants near your spawn and right-click to craft fibers into rope.

You can craft 4 pieces for full set coverage. Repair by recrafting if damaged, but replace when broken.

Once equipped, prioritize bamboo sticks from bamboo groves for stronger variants (same recipe, swap sticks). Progress to bone (from animals) or armadillo shell for mid-game durability.

Stick armor gets you through initial survival hurdles—craft multiples, stay mobile in fights, and upgrade fast to handle tougher threats.
