Relics empower weapons with elemental forces in LEGO Fortnite Ninjago, boosting damage against matching enemy weaknesses. Craft them at the Ninja Workbench and slot during crafting for combat edge—this concise guide explains types, matchups, and steps simply.

What are Relics

Relics introduce a fresh system for infusing weapons with elemental powers in the game, delivering buffs and amplified damage when exploiting elemental weaknesses against specific enemy types.

The available Relics currently in the game include:

  • Fire
  • Earth
  • Lightning
  • Ice
  • Power
Element Strengths & Weaknesses

Ice is stronger than Fire – Use Ice relic weapons against Fire elemental enemies.

Earth is stronger than Lightning – Use Earth relic weapons against Lightning elemental enemies.

Lightning is stronger than Ice – Use Lightning relic weapons against Ice elemental enemies.

Fire is stronger than Earth – Use Fire relic weapons against Earth elemental enemies.

How to get and use Relics

Relics craft at the Ninja Workbench, with Uncommon ones unlocking via Story progress, while Rare and Epic tiers require Ninjago Mastery tabs. Legendary Relics, the highest tier, can't be crafted and drop rarely from Dragons, Elemental Brutes, or the Lost Master.

Here's how to craft and equip an Uncommon Relic:

Step 1

Head to the Ninja Workbench and select the 4th stars icon to access the Relics section.

Step 2

Choose any relic of your liking, we chose the Fire Relic. This Relic requires x3 Fire Energy, x3 Fire Betrayer Headband, x1 Honed Bamboo & x1 Elemental Claw. Once you have all the required resources, you can craft it.

Step 3

Relics can only be added during weapon creation at the Ninja Workbench—once a weapon is crafted, no relics can be equipped later. To include one, select the relic slot from the right menu while crafting weapons.
