How to craft the chest
Step 1
Open your crafting menu by pressing the default key (usually Tab on PC).
Step 2
Look for the “Wooden Chest” recipe in the crafting list; it should appear as long as you have at least one tree trunk in your inventory.
Step 3
Click on the Wooden Chest recipe, then click “Craft” (or the equivalent button). The game will use 10 tree trunks from your inventory to create one chest.
Step 4
Once crafted, the wooden chest will appear in your inventory; you can now place it in the world.
How to place and use a chest
To place a chest, select it from your hotbar and aim at any solid surface like the ground, stone, or wood, then right-click (or use the place button). You can place chests next to each other to create a double chest with extra storage.
