OpenAI has quietly jumped on the year-end Wrapped trend with “Your Year with ChatGPT,” an optional, fun recap that shows how you used ChatGPT throughout 2025, similar to Spotify Wrapped.
If you’re eligible, a “Your Year with ChatGPT” prompt will appear on the home screen of the ChatGPT app (web, iOS, or Android). Tapping it opens a Stories-style recap with highlights, stats, and a few personalized awards based on your usage.
How to Check Your Year with ChatGPT
On your phone, simply open the ChatGPT app and type “Your Year with ChatGPT.” When the prompt appears, tap Get Started to begin your recap.

On the web version of ChatGPT, you can click the Try It prompt at the bottom of the screen or just type “Your Year with ChatGPT” to start your recap.

What your ChatGPT recap includes
A quick overview of your chat activity, usage stats, and your chattiest day.
It will also analyse your communication style and give you a playful “archetype” label, such as “The Producer,” "The Navigator," or something similar, based on your usage.

The recap also includes “Your Year, Painted in Pixels,” followed by an interactive reveal of the quote of the year.
Overall, it’s a fun way to wrap up the year, turning everyday chats into a shareable recap that feels surprisingly personal.
