The Horizon View Hot Spring is one of the earliest hot springs you can discover in Ghost of Yotei. It's one of the four located in the Yotei Grasslands region. Here's how to get to it.

The Yotei Grasslands is the wide open hub beneath Mt. Yōtei, connecting to several other regions. Look for the Kuttara Gambling Den on the southern coast.

  • Fast travel to the Yotei Grasslands region if you’ve already unlocked it.
  • Explore southward until you locate the Kuttara Gambling Den near the coast.
  • The best maps may mark hot spring locations once you’ve purchased Traveler’s Maps or uncovered enough of the region.

How to reach the Horizon View Hot Spring

Step 1

Head to Kuttara Gambling Den, then make your way right to the cliff’s southern edge overlooking the ocean.

Step 2

Look down from the edge for a natural rocky ledge directly below. The horizon and steam rising from the onsen should be visible.

Step 3

Carefully descend the cliff by dropping or climbing down—some handholds and platforms are available. Watch for an area you can safely grab as you go below the edge.

Step 4

Once on the ledge, cross a small gap to reach the hot spring itself. The location is somewhat hidden due to its lower elevation and can be missed if you stick to the upper cliff paths.

Step 5

Interact with the pool—Atsu, the character, will bathe, triggering a health increase and a short reflection cutscene.

Hot springs in Ghost of Yotei let Atsu rest and reflect, and doing so rewards her with a permanent increase to maximum health. Finding all 16 hot springs is also tied to the Body, Mind, and Spirit trophy.
