How to unlock the Hidden Secret quest
You’ll receive the quest Hidden Secret from Xavier after finishing his mission titled New Cargo. Once accepted, you’ll be tasked to explore the Warehouse map and uncover two secret cellars that hide valuable items and lore elements.
Prerequisites
Before starting, make sure you have the following:
- 1× Cellar Key — Each cellar door consumes one Cellar Key. You must have two to open both cellars (if you only open one, the quest may mark one objective as complete). Cellar Keys are uncommon random drops from clothing containers, corpses and certain crates; check black market refreshes too.
- Gas Mask — The Ravine cellar contains toxic gas; bring a gas mask before opening that door.
How to find the first cellar door (south of the Ravine)
Enter the Warehouse map and head for “Ravine.” On the in-game map, look just below the “Ravine” label for a weathered house — that’s the one.
Enter the house and scan the floor carefully. The trapdoor is a wooden panel embedded in the floorboards and can be easy to miss.
Equip your gas mask before descending. The area below the trapdoor is filled with toxic gas. Without a gas mask your health will drain quickly.
Use one Cellar Key to unlock and clear the cellar. Loot, clear threats, and extract. Note: opening this cellar will clear one of the two cellar objectives for the Hidden Secret quest.
How to find the second cellar door (west of Western Factory)
Open the map and go to the Western Factory area (far west of Warehouse).
Head to the left-most corner of the factory complex. You’ll see fences and barricades guarding a small fenced enclosure. Break or navigate past the barricades to reach the fenced area and find the cellar entrance inside.
Use your second Cellar Key and clear the area below. Loot the crates and exit once done.
Inside, you’ll find weapons crates and high-tier loot. Once you’ve collected everything, extract through a nearby exit or return route.
