The tougher variant of Samsung Galaxy S8, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has been in the news for some time now. The device was recently spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance and Geekbench besides giving us its glimpse in a mock image leak.
Now, in the latest development, the real world pictures of Samsung Galaxy S8 Active have leaked out, thanks to Reddit. The images show the device from all the different angles.
On the front side, Samsung has ditched the Infinity display found on the S8 and S8+; instead, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will sport a flat display panel with a good amount of bezels in the 5.8inch display.

The S8 Active, similar to Samsung Galaxy S8 has ditched the physical buttons for navigation, instead, will sport the capacitive keys. Further, the Bixby button is also present on the left side. In favor of a more rugged build, the smartphone is rumored to be made of polycarbonate.
Up until now, we have seen Samsung release the Active variants of its flagship phones with larger batteries. Well, same is the case with Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. It is rumored to sport 4000mAh battery making S8 Active slightly thicker than S8 and S8+.

According to the recent Geekbench listing, Samsung S8 Active will sport Snapdragon 835 chipset alongside 4GB of RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat. Further, the tougher variant will be MIL-STD-810G certified, in addition to the IP68 certification which means that the phone will be dust-proof, waterproof and more ruggedized.
Again, similar to the previous Active lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will be AT&T exclusive.
