All Heaven's Pier encounters locations & rewards
1 - A Toast to Destiny: Part I
Location
Heaven’s Pier main settlement

Starter NPC
Lone Drinker
What to do
Talk to the Lone Drinker and offer him good wine when prompted. Choosing any other option won’t start the encounter. Once the conversation completes, the encounter immediately counts as finished.
This encounter has a Part II, but only Part I is required for Heaven’s Pier’s encounter counter.
Rewards
- Echo Jade - x25
- Qinghe Exploration - x25
- Coin - x7000
- Stored EXP - x7000
- Pose: Drunken Fist

2 – Tales That Soar
Location
Heaven’s Pier central area (crowded gathering spot)

Starter NPC
Old Jiang
What to do
Approach Old Jiang while he is telling stories to a gathered crowd. The encounter triggers automatically when you enter the area. Follow the dialogue, investigate the claims, and resolve the situation using dialogue-based choices rather than combat.
If the NPC does not appear, try advancing time or relogging before returning. He usually appears in the evening time.
Rewards
- Echo Jade: x25
- Qinghe Exploration: x25
- Enlightenment Points: x100
- Character EXP: x10,000
- Coins: x10,000

3 – Her Legacy
Location
Heaven’s Pier Brewery area

Starter NPC
Triggered by area exploration (no direct NPC interaction)
What to do
First, complete Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier. Afterward, return to Heaven’s Pier and enter the Brewery area to trigger the encounter. Simply fast-traveling nearby is not enough—you must explore the area on foot.
This encounter expands into a longer, multi-step chain but still counts as a single Heaven’s Pier encounter.
Rewards
- Echo Jade ×25
- Qinghe Exploration ×25
- Coin ×10,000
- Stored EXP ×10,000

4 – A Drastic Cure
Location
West Heaven’s Pier, near the riverside.

Starter NPC
Qian Feifei
What to do
Advance the in-game time to late night (Zi to Yin hours). Find Qian Feifei kneeling near a small bonfire, surrounded by paper money. Speak to him to start the encounter.
If he does not appear, leave the area, advance time again, and return. Completing nearby wandering tales may also help unblock the spawn.
Rewards
- Echo Jade - x50
- Qinghe Exploration - x50
- Coin - x15000
- Stored EXP - x15000
- Pose: Bruised - Unlocked

5 – Little Shadow of Moonveil
Location
Heaven’s Pier, across from Yuan Tiantian’s stall.

Starter NPC
Tong Xiaoyun
What to do
Before this encounter can appear, you must successfully use Celestial Seize (steal mechanic) on specific vendor items elsewhere. After stealing, return to Heaven’s Pier.
Tong Xiaoyun will be observing from the shadows or rooftop area across from the stall. Approach him to trigger the encounter.
Rewards
- Echo Jade ×25
- Qinghe Exploration ×25
- Coin ×10,000
- Stored EXP ×10,000

How to fix encounters not spawning
If you’re stuck on completing encounters, these steps resolve most issues:
- Advance time and revisit the location, especially at night
- Fully exit the area or relog, then return
- Double-check progress under Quest → Encounter, not other quest tabs
- Confirm story prerequisites like Chapter 1 completion
- For Moonveil, confirm Celestial Seize was actually successful
