Follow the steps below to complete the Heavenfall Lost Chapter in Where Winds Meet:

Step 1

Once you arrive at the marked location, a cutscene will play in which you intercept a letter carried by a bird, officially kicking off the quest.

Step 2

Deliver the letter to Zhang Cuo and have a drink with him. HeF can be found standing on a small boulder in Heavenfall.

Step 3

Head to the marked location below and speak with Er Ma, the fish vendor who serves as the informant.

Step 4

Speak with Er Ma again when you're ready to begin. You can first gather equipment before heading in.

Step 5

Follow Er Ma through Heavenfall Crossing until you arrive at Swallow Hut, then speak with him.

Step 6

Defeat the 4 guards in the area to progress.

Step 7

Interact with the Crane Helm to lower the bait. Swing it right to place the bait onto the raft.

Step 8

After placing the bait, board the raft with Er Ma and interact with the "Goatskins Raft" to move forward.

Step 9

When you arrive at the first flood gate, defeat all enemies in the area.

Step 10

Jump across the waterwheel mechanism to reach the stone switch.

Step 11

Stand on the stone switch to trigger the water spray, then use Tai Chi on the water and redirect the flow toward the gate mechanism tower to open the floodgates.

Step 12

Get back on the raft and interact with the "Goatskins Raft" to continue forward.

Step 13

Once you reach the second locked floodgate, jump into the water behind the floodgate and swim across.

Step 14

After swimming across, climb the tower using the ladder, then drop down and defeat all enemies in the area.

Step 15

Stand on the stone switch to activate the water spray, then step forward slightly (to avoid hitting the wooden box next to you) and use Tai Chi to redirect the water toward the Floodgate Mechanism tower. Jump back onto the raft afterward to continue.

Step 16

Once you reach the Tide Platform, defeat all the enemies in the area.

Step 17

Head to the quest marker after defeating the enemies to trigger a cutscene starting a boss fight with Feng Ruzhi also called the Bloodscale Hall Master.

Step 18

Once you deplete a quarter of Feng Ruzhi's health, she'll don a mask and transform into her second phase.

Step 19

Perfectly parry her special attacks to counter with powerful strikes and stagger her. Repeat these parries to defeat her.

Step 20

Head to the quest marker to find the dial. Interact with it and press the prompted buttons to open the gates for Er Ma. Once he's inside, drop into the water and speak with him on his raft.

Step 21

Jump into the water and swim down to find a hole in the wall. Continue through the wreckage until you reach an exit with a massive sunken statue, then approach it to trigger a cutscene.

Step 22

Swim back up to the raft and press the Nuo Dance Mask Key.

Step 23

After activating the Mask Key, climb the ladder upstairs and defeat all the enemies.

Step 24

Jump onto the box, then the rotating platform, and leap to the stairs. Circle around and use the ladder to reach the base of the massive crane.

Step 25

Use the onscreen prompt to leap to the platform above, then climb the ladders and jump to reach the top of the crane.

Step 26

Interact with the Crane Helm and rotate the crane left to lower the hook. Position it correctly over the statue in the water, then rapidly press the onscreen buttons to pull it up and trigger a cutscene.

Step 27

After the cutscene, the final boss fight begins against Feng Yi the River Master.

Step 28

Once you deplete the Dragon King's health, phase 2 begins as the River Master drops onto the platform to fight you.

Step 29

Block all the River Master's attacks to gradually drain his Qi bar, causing him to stagger, then punish him to defeat him.

Step 30

Speak with Feng Yi the River Master, kneeling before you.

Step 31

Speak with Jin Zhongyuan to complete the quest.
