Ghoul Garden 2 deepens Halloween engagement by layering new challenges and items atop the core event in the new 1.28.0 update. The Dead Tree quests reward active participation, while the Ghostly Gadgets shop lets you spend event currency on powerful tools. Extended seed deals give more time to collect limited seeds, making update 1.28.0 the most accessible Halloween experience yet.

UPDATE: 1.28.1 brings more new changes and fixes. These changes are live in new and private servers (v2000+):
- Fixed Hallo-ise npc and stand being invisible
- Improved Dead Tree Quests
- Fixed Digging UI issues
- Fixed issue with Spooky Seed shop
- Fixed bug where there was an infinite bat attack
- Fixed UI issue on small resolution devices related to the digging event
Dead Tree quests and rewards
Every two hours, the Dead Tree replaces the Witch in the lobby, offering three timed quests such as:
- Harvest 10 Vamp Plants
- Grow a Bat to age 10
- Fly 1000 studs on the Witch’s Broom
- Consume 6 bowls of Suspicious Soup
Completing any quest before time runs out grants one of these rewards at random: Candy Corns, Spooky Egg, Halloween Gear Box, Harvest Tool, Reclaimer, Godly Sprinkler, or Master Sprinkler. Additionally, you may receive the Weeping Branch, which applies a Shroud, Withering, or Lament mutation to nearby fruits.
Ghostly Gadgets shop inventory
A new stall, Ghostly Gadgets, appears beside the Dead Tree every 45 minutes. All items cost Candy Corns:
| Item | Rarity | Price (Candy Corn) | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Halloween Gear Box | Legendary | 30 | Five exclusive Halloween gears |
| Witch’s Broom | Legendary | 35 | Fly around the lobby; completes broom quests |
| Suspicious Soup | Rare | 25 | Grants random buffs or debuffs on use |
| Halloween Radar | Uncommon | 20 | Scans and collects Halloween-mutated fruits |
Use these items to speed quest completion, boost mutations, or simply enjoy the spooky atmosphere.
Daily Deals tab in Seed Shop
The update extends event access by keeping the Seed Shop’s second tab as Daily Deals, offering rotating seed varieties at discounted Sheckle prices. This change ensures players can still acquire Great Pumpkin, Bloodred Mushroom, and other Halloween seeds even after the initial event shop rotates out.
With fresh quests, Candy Corn currency expansion, and a second market of ghostly gear, Grow a Garden 1.28.0 ensures Halloween fun continues. Dive back into your garden, complete Dead Tree tasks, and stock up on Ghostly Gadgets before the seasonal event ends.
