A third generation Gree smartphone device dubbed as Gree Phone 3 has been listed on Bluetooth SIG, giving us enough reasons to guess that its release is fast approaching. The Bluetoog certification site lists the phone as model number G0245D.
Notably, a couple of days back the popular benchmarking platform, AnTuTu also carried details about a Gree smartphone with similar model number. Although, the Bluetooth site does not mention any other details about the Gree Phone 3, we did have our hands on its specs on AnTuTu.
The AnTuTu screenshot revealed that the Gree Phone 3 will sport a full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Under the hood, the phone packs in Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
On the imaging front, AnTuTu listed the Gree Phone 3 as carrying a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera. The device will run on Android 6.0.1 out of the box.
Gree Phone 3 is successor to Gree Phone 2 which features a 6-inch quad HD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440. On the performance side of things, the device featured the same Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB RAM.
If compared, Gree Phone 3 stands small in front of Gree Phone 2 which lets us surmise that the device will most probably retail for a price much lower.
