Google has released its November 2025 Pixel Drop, an update combining creativity, security, and smarter AI tools for Pixel devices. The rollout starts this week and will continue to reach supported models over the coming days.

At the heart of this update is Remix in Google Messages, which allows users to apply artistic transformations like 3D animation, sketch, and anime effects directly to photos without leaving the chat. The feature, powered by Google’s Nano Banana image-editing model, works across both Pixel and non-Pixel devices, letting friends remix each other’s photos in real time.

Another key feature is AI-powered notification summaries on Pixel 9 and newer phones (excluding 9a). The system automatically condenses long chat threads from Google Messages and other supported apps into short, digestible summaries shown in the notification shade. A further upgrade, called the notification organiser, will arrive in December to group and silence less-important alerts, helping users stay focused.

On the safety side, Google has strengthened its scam-detection system. Pixel 6 and newer devices in the United States will now show a “Likely scam” alert on chat notifications from popular messaging apps when suspicious activity is detected. The company is also expanding its call-based scam detection and the Call Notes AI feature—which transcribes and summarises calls—to additional regions including Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, and the UK.

Google notes that the rollout is phased, meaning not all devices or regions will receive every feature immediately. Some additions, like notification summaries, require newer hardware such as the Pixel 9 series. The Wicked theme pack is available only until January 31, 2026, and regional support for scam-detection and Call Notes features may vary.
