Google might be launching two Nexus smartphones this year. Since a few months, there are rumors and leaks suggesting that the Chinese firm Huawei is making a Nexus phablet. Now, there are claims that LG will be involved in the making of a smaller Nexus device.
The Huawei Nexus device was often rumored and it was said that the Chinese manufacturer will make the 2015 Nexus smartphone that will help Google tap into the sales generated by the Chinese market. Recently, LG seems to become the first maker to come up with the three Nexus smartphones as it will also be roped in to launch a smartphone this year.
As per the latest reports, both LG and Huawei will be launching Google Nexus smartphones this year. Going by the same, this will be the first year for Google to launch two Nexus smartphones in the same year.
The Huawei made Nexus device is likely to boast of a 5.7 inch display that could be a successor to the Nexus 6. This device is said to be codenamed Bullhead and it might arrive with a Snapdragon 810 chipset and a 3,500 mAh battery.
Talking of the alleged LG Nexus smartphone, the device is referred as Angler internally and it is likely to feature a 5.2 inch display. The other aspects rumored to be a part of this device include a hexa core Snapdragon 808 chipset and a 2,700 mAh battery. These details make it clear that the LG made Nexus device might be similar to the LG G4.
Apart from smartphones, the rumor speculates that the Nexus 9 will be the only tablet that Google might sell this year. As per the report, the two smartphones will be announced in October this year. For now, there is no information on the possible pricing of these devices.
