Google Play Store is undergoing some great changes right now, and we’re seeing a new version hit the release every now and often. Today, we’re seeing the version jump from 7.1.16 to 7.1.25, a bigger jump compared to its previous ones when it cruised to 7.1.16 with marginal revisions: 7.1.11, 7.1.12, 7.1.13, 7.1.14 and 7.1.15.

Anyway, numbers apart, it seems Google is ready to unveil the new Play Store UI for all, which we noted a while ago. You get big Install button in the new UI, and it brings the most important info right off the bat below the Install button itself, such as Ratings and Downloads, in a very neat presentation, along with info like Contains Ads, in-app purchases.

We would urge to update away your Play Store now, and you can do so manually. Just download the APK file of the Play Store from the link provided above, and transfer it your Android device.

Now, using a file manager, simply browse to the file, and tap on it to begin installation. You need to enable ‘Unknown sources’ in Settings to be able to install an app using its APK, so make sure you have done that already.

We’re looking into the 7.1.25 version of the play store to find out what new it brings, and will update the post with that pretty soon.
