Just a while ago, Google promised to add a new feature to the Google News and Weather app so that it can display around 200 news stories on the home screen. Keeping its word, the search engine giant has rolled out a new update to the app with version number 3.1.4.

The update aims to make your news reading experience seamless by loading up more articles on the front page. Google is calling this feature More Headlines. Essentially, it aggregates the hottest news stories from Business, Tech, Entertainment, Sports and other sections on the front page of the app and keep loading them as you scroll.

The content displayed on the home screen is algorithmic. What this essentially means is that the stories that are being displayed on the screen along with their sources are picked by an algorithm. This also means that the app gets better with time.

The update also brings along bug fixes and minor feature changes.
