What to know
- Google Keep introduces AI-powered list creation for Pixel users.
- Feature also available to Google One AI subscribers.
- Users can toggle the feature on/off in Settings
Google’s popular note-taking app, Keep, is getting a clever upgrade. First announced with the Pixel 9, a new Keep feature lets users harness the power of artificial intelligence to build lists effortlessly. With the “Help me create a list” option, users can tap into AI assistance to get help for generating lists for various purposes. But the feature is not completely exclusive to Pixel 9 users.
This smart addition is currently available to all Pixel device owners and those subscribed to Google One AI.
For those who prefer the traditional way of list-making, Google has thoughtfully included a toggle option. Users can easily switch off the “Show help me create a list” feature from the app’s settings, maintaining control over their note-taking experience.
While the feature is currently limited to Pixel users and Google One AI subscribers, it’s possible that Google may expand its availability in the future. According to AndroidAuthority, you may not even need a Google One Ai subscription, “but the amount of requests you can do will be limited without it”. Select users, at least, can enjoy a smarter, more efficient way to create lists in Google Keep.
