Google Home can now respond to multiple commands at once

The Google Home is a really good smart speaker, and it recently became even more smarter thanks to new features. Google introduced multi-user support, which allows multiple users to use one Home, and other useful features.

However, it lacked one important feature that would allow users to perform multiple or a set of tasks in one go. You could only ask Home to perform one task at once. For example, you could only say ‘Switch off the lights’, and couldn’t ask it to do another task right after. You would have to wait for Home to finish the task and they ask it to play a song or something.

Thankfully, Google has now added the feature where the Home speaker can respond to multiple commands. You can now ask Home to turn off the lights and play your favorite song, and it will do so in that order. You can even ask it to turn off two different set of lights. As of now, only two commands work at a single time. Still, it’s better than one.

Google has made this change quietly, which is a good thing. However, this doesn’t seem to work with the Assistant on mobile. It is possible that Google might address this and once again roll-out an update to make it work.

Pretty useful, don’t you think? If you’ve got a Google Home, do try it out and let us know if it works for you.
