It is obvious for anyone to hate lag on their smartphone and the same is the case with Google. The firm has come up with a dedicated robot to find out the delay between your finger input and the happenings on the screen.
The robot made by OptoFidelity called Chrome Touchbot is the one that can gauge the touch screen latency on both Android and Chrome OS based devices. The bot’s artificial digit pokes, swipes and prods the display in a series of tests that are web based. This can be done by yourself and it will help in pinpointing the problems in the code and hardware.
