What to know

• Google Calendar's Android app now shows your Tasks directly in the calendar view.
• You can create and manage tasks without leaving the Calendar app.
• Tasks with due dates appear on your calendar, showing uncompleted items from the past year.

Google Calendar's Android app now includes Tasks integration, letting you handle your to-do list right in your calendar.

Opening the Calendar app and tapping the plus button reveals a "Task" option. Here, you can add your task name, details, and due date. You can also set tasks to repeat if needed.

To view your tasks, open the menu and check the Tasks option. This displays all your dated tasks on the calendar. The current day view shows any pending tasks from the last 365 days.

You can edit tasks by tapping them on your calendar. Options include changing details, marking tasks complete, or removing them. Tasks can also be changed into calendar events while keeping their information.

Google continues to improve the Tasks feature in Calendar. New updates might soon add subtasks and better list organization options in the Calendar app. While Android users get these new features now through a phased rollout, Google hasn't announced when iPhone users will receive the same update.

Remember, your tasks remain private - only you can see them in your Calendar, regardless of your account type.
