Users in Netherlands can generally pay for their purchases either via operator billing, credit card, or through Google Play gift cards on the Play Store. But, it seems like Google is adding another option to pay on the Play Store in the form of iDEAL payment service.
The news comes as the company confirmed that it is adding iDEAL as a payment option to Tweakers. The search engine giant has already started testing the iDEAL as a payment method on Play Store in Netherlands. Currently, this feature is available to select users in the country who have been randomly picked from the test group.
For now, only these select set of users will be able to pay through iDEAL alongside the other payment options mentioned above. However, the service should be rolled out to all the users in the country once the testing is completed successfully.
