Gionee S10B specs revealed at GFXbench!

Gionee S10

Successor to the Gionee S9, the Gionee S10 has been spotted visiting GFXBench today revealing some of the major specs of the handset. A few days ago, Gionee’s upcoming smartphone was spotted on TENAA as well.

The device was listed with the model name ‘Gionee S10B’ and is believed to feature the following specs.

Gionee S10 Specs

  • Display: 5.5-inch Full HD
  • Processor: 1.9GHz hexadeca-core MediaTek MT6755, ARM Mali-T860
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 64GB (expandable)
  • Rear Camera: 12MP
  • Front Camera: 16MP
  • Battery: 3,700mAh
  • OS: Android 7.0 Nougat

Akin to its predecessor, the Gionee S10 is rumored to feature a dual camera setup. It’s, however, worth noting that the TENAA listing showed the presence of a 13MP + 13MP combination on the rear while the GFXBench indicates the presence of only a 12MP sensor.

I wish Gionee for once would ditch all their fancy ads for the camera and all that and just focus on creating a beautiful flagship at a budget price. And focus on one model that is absolutely perfect instead of multiple products that feel like incomplete copies of each other.

    1. Gionee I remember was one of the top phones at one point of time due to its inexpensive price and great specs then on I really have no clue what happened the last I remember seeing was an ad stating every 7 secs some person in India is buying the phone or something.I haven’t heard much coming from Gionee lately ..

They were pretty great but now all they do is churn out the same phones again and again :/

        1. Dude check out the Gionee M6S plus, pretty pricey tho .

Checked it out. Loved all the specs expect the CPU. At that price, the 653 is underpowered. (for a chinese OEM)

          2. I got really excited reading the specs XD then came the price a hefty 600$ is too pricey for those specs. The 3T is a much better option only the battery seems much bigger 😀 What I find nice is that the fingerprint scanner doubles as a heart rate sensor too 😀

The battery is amazing 🙂 3t anyday though 🙂

    2. Honestly, agreed. I wonder how successful all of that selfie marketing can be. They are very aggressive about it and it surely must cost a fortune.

Exactly! Put that money into R&D for crying out loud!

  2. New Gionee already, they just launched a new device and looks like they r ready for their next camera phone, has all great specs but it really annoys me when I see MTK6755 chip on any phones leaked specs, I mean come on it’s 2017, there r already great and cheap processors out there like SD625 or 626 or even Helio P20, but I just don’t get it why these great Chinese brands keep on using that same OLD and underpowered chip, I mean it’s not that bad if u r not a heavy gamer or don’t fill the phone with apps that overflows the RAM, but still a phone that good in 2017 and using a 2year old chip is just not acceptable, Gionee should really boycott this processor..

  3. Nice to see that it comes with a 64gb storage and 4gb of RAM as that is the trend these days but the MTK processor is kind of a minus point IMO when coming with such neat specs they should have thought of using the Snapdragon.Maybe manufacturers choose MTK as it may be slightly cheaper than the Snapdragon not really sure about that but still No hate that phone is really nice phone just hope the price is not too high …

  4. Is it just me who loses all the interest in a phone after reading that it has a mediatek processor? 😛

    1. Although I agree that a SD would be better, a MTK might not be all that bad too. Lets wait for the geekbench scores and see. 🙂
Besides, SD has a monopoly over the android world and a little competition will never hurt.
