Sarufutsu Lighthouse lies on a narrow peninsula at the eastern edge of the playable map. Although its name might suggest proximity to Sarufutsu River, it’s actually located several meters southeast of Shipwreck Shoal, overlooking the greyed-out unreachable territory.

From Red Crane Inn, head northeast along the coast until the tall tower becomes visible against the snowy shoreline.

How to solve the Sarufutsu Lighthouse puzzle

Inside the lighthouse foyer, two empty pedestals stand before a locked door, flanked by mirrored statue alcoves. Follow these detailed steps:

Step 1

Face the left alcove. Rotate the large fox statue on the left wall to face right, and its counterpart to face left. This alignment frees the small fox idol.

Step 2

Pick up the small fox idol and place it on the left pedestal by the door.

Step 3

Turn toward the right alcove. Again, rotate each large fox statue so they face each other (left wall statue faces right; right statue faces left).

Step 4

Retrieve the second small fox idol and place it on the right pedestal.

The door will unlock with an audible cue, granting access to the hidden route.

Once inside the hunting den, descend into the Hunting Camp Hideout and continue your journey.
