Step 1: Reach your home

Chase Jubei through parkour prompts to after you reach your home.

Step 2: Shamisen

Play the shamisen using the touchpad, unlocking memories and full menus.

Step 3: Restore and attempt the bamboo strike

To the right of the shamisen spot, repair the bamboo stand and attempt the bamboo cutting challenge. Complete the button combos correctly to unlock a Spirit increase.

Step 4: Investigate inside the house

Check two main interactive points: the Time-word note on the pole, and the painting supplies on the right. The note gives story context, while the painting supplies hint at Sumi-E side activities. You will also discover coin here.

Step 5: Return to your childhood memory

Use the touchpad to transition between present-day Atsu and her younger self. This will highlight interactable spots around the home.

Step 6: Visit the forge

Go to the forge and press R2 for a story interaction. It will become critical for katana upgrades later in the game.
