Kappa's Hot Spring in Ghost of Yotei is one of the 16 hot springs scattered throughout the game world. Situated in the lush Ishikari Plain, this hot spring is notable for its location in the Urara Forest area.

How to reach the Kappa Hot Spring

Step 1

Travel north toward the Urara Forest area on the Ishikari Plain map.

Step 2

From there, start moving north. Stay close to the main trail until you notice a bright red tree standing out among the greenery.

Step 3

Head toward that tree. You’ll find wooden masks hanging from branches nearby—these are your key visual clues.

Step 4

Move past the tree and follow the golden bird that often spawns in the area. It will lead you over a few rocks and down a small slope.

Step 5

You’ll soon see steam rising from a small rocky basin—that’s the Kappa Hot Spring. Approach the pool and interact to trigger the bathing sequence.

Hot springs in Ghost of Yotei let Atsu rest and reflect, and doing so rewards her with a permanent increase to maximum health. Finding all 16 hot springs is also tied to the Body, Mind, and Spirit trophy.
