The Cliff View Hot Spring appears on the in-game map with the customary wooden hot tub icon and a red bansai tree marker. It resides in the Shojin Hills area of Oshima Coast, directly south of the Saito Artillery Outpost.

How to reach the Cliff View Hot Spring

Step 1

Fast-travel to the Saito Artillery Outpost in Oshima Coast.

Step 2

From the outpost’s southern gate, follow the trail directly south into the Shojin Hills until spotting a red-leafed bansai tree atop a rocky ledge.​

Step 3

Approach the cliff’s base on the rock’s south side. Look for handholds and ledges at the very bottom that form the climbing path.

Step 4

Climb steadily using the visible handholds. At the top, the hot spring pool appears just behind the red tree.

Step 5

Interact with the bucket beside the water to bathe. Choose any reflection topic to gain the permanent health boost.

Hot springs in Ghost of Yotei let Atsu rest and reflect, and doing so rewards her with a permanent increase to maximum health. Finding all 16 hot springs is also tied to the Body, Mind, and Spirit trophy.
