How to unlock the blue flowers quest

To start "A Flower For Your Thoughts," head northwest of Ohara Plains, toward Amber Respite Shrine in the Tokachi Range. At the trailhead next to a torii gate, interact with the note on a tree to begin the quest. The note mentions leaving behind regrets in exchange for blue flowers, marking the beginning of your task.

Route to each blue flower and Amber Respite Shrine

Step 1

After reading the note, you'll ascend the Amber Respite Shrine. When at the top slide down the rocky slope on the left of the shrine—this leads toward a pond and a cluster of waterfalls, marking the area where the flowers are found.

Step 2

You are required to reach the top of the hill, for that you will have to climb over steep mountains and grapple your way to the edge, that is where you can find the slope downhill.

Step 3

Reach the Amber Respite Shrine and collect your Charm of Masakado.

Step 4

Turn immediately left after sliding down the slope and grapple your way up; look for a blue flower nestled between two trees, among autumn leaves.

Step 5

Go back to your starting spot after the slide, then head right and swim toward the nearest waterfall. Search for the next blue flower situated on a rock path right before the water stream.

Step 6

From the slide landing, head directly forward, following the water stream across the pond. Find the last blue flower growing among the grass just to the left of the stream.
