Motorola XT720 is in total invasion mode seeking one country after another. While the UK got confirmed earlier, it’s finding its way into other European countries now with Germany revealed as the first target. Motorola wants to go all places with its 3.7 inch devices (different versions of Droid/Milestone) and is leaving no cards unturned in making the most of famous Droid brand. The company is also preparing Droid X, the breath taking device we saw in preview earlier, for much hyped July 19 US launch.
Meanwhile, Milestone XT720, capable of recording at 720p (at 24 FPS) as suggested by its name (well, 720 stands for processor actually) will set its foot in German stores, as soon as in July, next month. Loaded with Android 2.1 on a 3.7 inch screen with 480 x 854 display, it’s world’s first android phone to feature a Xenon Flash (for what’s it’s worth) with 8 megapixel camera. It also come equipped with Wi-Fi, GPS, HDMI out and 8GB memory card.
Other features include 150 MB of internal memory with 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM, powered by ARM Cortex A8 720 MHz processor. All this is packed in 10.9 mm thick body whose side measure 116 x 60.9, which really impresses.
While the German prices tag is not available, it should cost around €540 if we take UK price as a reference. Not bad for a fully featured phone like that, but we can’t help if you have your eyes already set for Droid X or Droid 2, whichever suits your taste better. Really.
