Certain storms generate Resonance Flares along the riverbanks and rooftops. These events temporarily amplify clue visibility for Tales and Echoes fragments, encouraging players to revisit previously explored districts at different times for higher discovery efficiency.

A major addition was Music Echo Trials, a new challenge format blending traversal, combat, and rhythm inputs. Trials appear near cultural landmarks like Peace Bell Tower, Scholar’s Bridge, and the Ghostlight Market gates. Each trial rewards Melody Seals, a new currency used exclusively in 1.2’s cosmetic crafting and accessory exchange system.
