It’s raining Marshmallow for Samsung devices! We guess around 6-7 devices have been bestowed with the coveted 6.0 update in last two days, and the latest to jump the Marshmallow bandwagon is the Galaxy Tab S2 in Turkey, whose model no. is T817 — this is essentially the Tab S2 with LTE connectivity but without the ability to make calls and sms (no baseband comes pre-installed on this one, if you were curious).

If you got one Tab S2 in Turkey or in any corner of the world, with T817 model no. (and not T817T/V/P/etc.), then look for the OTA update in Settings now. Meanwhile, we will get you a firmware too, so that you can install it to upgrade to Marshmallow now. Keep an eye at our Galaxy Tab S2 firmware page here.

Earlier, both Marshmallow update was released for the Verizon Tab S2 and Sprint Tab S2 too. While we’re still waiting for the update’s details at Sprint, it’s good to see all Tab S2 tablets over the world receive the 6.0 build.
