Samsung started releasing the Android 7.0 Nougat to Galaxy Tab S2 towards the end of first week this month in some regions. The update has now reached the US and is being rolled out over the air.
Galaxy Tab S2 users in the US have reported receiving the Nougat update. The users of Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch are getting the update as build number T810XXU2DQCL while those with an 8-inch Tab S2 are receiving the update as build number T710XXU2DQCL. Other than bringing the Nougat OS to Tab S2, the new firmware update also tags along the April monthly security patch update.

Once installed, the Android 7.0 Nougat provides new UX and various new features to the Galaxy Tab S2. Some of these include improved notification feature and Quick settings button, split window mode and efficient space for installation of downloaded apps.
As evident, the new firmware update is a big one and weighs around 852MB. Therefore, it is advisable to get your handsets sufficiently charged before downloading the update. Also,connect it to a WiFi network. In case, you have not yet received the update, you can check for it manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates.
