It’s not like we didn’t know about the super-specs of the Galaxy Tab S, an upcoming 8.4″ Android tablet from Samsung, but getting a bit of that via AnTuTu benchmarks is something that almost confirms the rumored specs we’ve heard before.
We’re talking about 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage (16GB should also be available), Exynos 5 octa-core 5420 processor with ARM Mali-T628 chip, 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras, impressive resolution of 2560×1600 pixels (PPI=359!) and Android 4.4.2 onboard.
The AnTuTu benchmark leak it is, so nothing on display type and quality or screenshots or anything here, but having the RAM, processor, resolution and Android OS confirmed itself is a quite satisfying leak for Android harcores, no?
Apart from the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, the Galaxy Tab S would surely come customized with Samsung’s own custom UI, the Magazine UX, that we see on Galaxy S5, too.
Btw, have a look at the 3D performance of this thing! AnTuTu score of 35713 is almost equal to that of Galaxy S5, so performance-wise. this tablet would never let you down, that’s almost a guarantee now!
We had seen the AMOLED display lit up on the 10.5″ variant of Galaxy Tab S (SM-T800) yesterday, and we got its AnTuTu score to share with you, too: it’s 35760, in line with that of 8.4″ Galaxy Tab S, SM-T700.
More on this as and when we get info, so be sure to remain in touch with us!
