There’s the occasional official announcements and then there’s the ever-flowing leaks, either ways, there’s always something to keep us engaged and amused, especially when it comes to flagship devices. If the OEM is Samsung and the flagship is the next Galaxy S series smartphone, the reports are not only amusing but bemusing as well. The latest one to do the round is related to the pricing and color options of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

The supposed pricing and color options of both the premium Galaxy devices have leaked online today via Ukrainian retailer’s database. Listed in in black, gold, and orchid gray colors, the prices specified for Galaxy S8 (SM-G950) and Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955) are UAH 25,999 and UAH 28,999, respectively, which roughly squares up to $950 and $1050.

The price will obviously vary depending on the country but at this rate it costs $100 more than Galaxy S7. Notably, the price listed is for the 64GB variant, reveals blogger Erazmus via his Twitter handle.

Brushing away all the rumors about the launch date, the Korean giant had earlier made it clear that it will announce the S8 release date on February 27th at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly feature dual curved edges with bezel-less look and the first ever aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and 83% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it will carry Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. Other features include AI assistant, a 3000 mAh battery, 3.5-mm audio jack. It may even be shipped with Active Noise Cancelling wireless headphones. The S8+ model, on the other hand, will sport a larger 6.2-inch display with other specs in sync with its younger sibling.
