After Samsung’s roll out of Nougat update to the unlocked Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+, user of these devices on various networks have been waiting eagerly for the Nougat OS to arrive on their smartphones. Well, it seems users in Canada on Telus network have got some luck.

The Canadian carrier has updated its software schedule page showing ‘late April’ (updated, it was April 10 earlier) as the date for roll out of Android Nougat update to the three mentioned Galaxy S6 series devices.

Telus, on its software update schedule page, has set April 10th as the target launch date for release of of Android Nougat to Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+ smartphones. Along with the updated OS, these devices on the Canadian carrier will also receive security updates and bug fixes.

Samsung started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to the S6 series devices early this month after updating the S7 series smartphones to the Nougat OS. Next in line for the Nougat update was Galaxy Note 5 which too has been bumped up to Nougat. In fact, Galaxy Note 5 users in India reported having received the Nougat update yesterday which arrives as build N920GDDU3CQC7.
