Galaxy S6 Edge Nougat update to release soon, certified for Europe, USA and Canada

Looks like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is next in line to get the update to Android 7.0 Nougat. The device was just certified for the Nougat update by Verizon, but it has also been certified by other carriers in the US, Europe and Canada.

The above certification is for the Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge, however, the following devices have also been certified, and will get the Nougat update very soon.

  • SM-G925R7 – C-Spire Galaxy S6 Edge
  • SM-G925R6 – Appalachian Galaxy S6 Edge
  • SM-G925R4 – US Cellular Galaxy S6 Edge
  • SM-G925W8 – Canada Galaxy S6 Edge
  • SCV31 – KDDI (Japan) Galaxy S6 Edge
  • SM-G925I – India Galaxy S6 Edge
  • SM-G925K – Korea Galaxy S6 Edge
  • SM-G9250 – China Galaxy S6 Edge

Samsung recently started seeding the Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in several regions. The next in line are the S6 and the S6 Edge, and it looks like users of these devices will be getting the good news very soon.
