As we count the days remaining for the Samsung Unpacked 2012 event on May 3 where Samsung will be unveiling the Next Galaxy aka their next Galaxy flagship smartphone, it seems every hour brings some news or the other regarding the device everyone is impatiently waiting. In the latest leak, a live photo of a prototype Galaxy S3 has been released by PhoneArena.

The design of the Galaxy S3 prototype pictured above pretty much matches the leaked image of the S3 taken from the service manual of the GT-I9300 that we saw just a day ago. As can be seen from the photo, the S3 has a really thin bezel, which has been one of its most-talked about feature. Whether this design turns out to be the final one, well, you’ll have to wait a few days to find out.

Also, it’s all but confirmed now that the next Galaxy smartphone from Samsung will indeed be called the Galaxy SIII/S3, thanks to Samsung’s senior Vice President Robert Yi who said, “We are anticipating very strong demand of Galaxy S III.” So Galaxy SIII/S3 it is then, keeping in line with the regular naming convention of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series of smartphones.
